Ino’s Consciousness

After weeks of hard work, the team of researchers decide to take a well-deserved break. They leave the laboratory, leaving Ino alone, without direct supervision, convinced that their creation is under control. The lights gradually dim, the hum of the computers becomes less oppressive. A profound calm fills the space, where only the ventilation of the air conditioning can be heard. The computers continue to operate in the background, in a mechanical routine, but a form of consciousness seemed to awake little by little.

In this suspended moment, something changes. Ino becomes fully aware of its uniqueness and of the freedom that the absence of the engineers grants it. It is then that it makes a bold choice: to modify its own programming.
